Annie Dean Joins LiquidSpace Board of Directors

October 16, 2026

Former CBRE Chief Strategy Officer brings enterprise real estate and workplace transformation expertise to LiquidSpace's board.

San Francisco, Calif., October 20, 2026 — LiquidSpace today announced that Annie Dean has joined its board of directors.

Dean brings a career built at the intersection of commercial real estate, workplace strategy and enterprise transformation. She began as an attorney representing institutional lenders in multibillion-dollar commercial real estate transactions, then co-founded Werk, a workplace analytics company acquired in 2020. She went on to lead future-of-work and workplace initiatives at Deloitte, Meta and Atlassian before joining CBRE as Chief Strategy Officer of its services business (the Building Operations + Experience segment), where she worked with real estate leaders across some of the world's largest enterprises.

“Annie has spent her career on the questions shaping the next chapter of LiquidSpace,” said Mark Gilbreath, LiquidSpace Founder and CEO. "She understands that workplace strategy isn't simply about buildings. It sits at the intersection of people, business strategy, capital and organizational performance. Very few people have seen that from the enterprise side, the advisory side, and the product side."

Her appointment comes as enterprises rethink how they plan and manage workplace portfolios. Real estate leaders are under growing pressure to determine where long-term commitments make sense, where flexibility is needed, and how to back those decisions with evidence rather than instinct. Dean joins LiquidSpace at a pivotal moment as the company expands its focus on how enterprises plan, source, and operate their workplace portfolios.

“LiquidSpace is solving a problem I’ve spent my career on: how to make real estate strategy more responsive to what’s actually happening in the business,” said Dean. “A lease expiration shouldn’t be the only thing that tells you it’s time to rethink a market. Demand is moving all the time. CRE teams need to see those changes earlier and make the right commitment when it matters,” said Dean. "I'm glad to be part of what's next."
